A soft, taupy smokey eye is my go-to look when I have to wear makeup all day-it’s not heavy so I can pull it off day to night and it needs minimum touch ups.I love the smudged, black eye pencil that blends into my eyeshadows, the light luminous base and a nude gloss to tone it down.

My base is sheer and glowy as this look is focused on my eyes.I used a tiny amount of my current favourite foundation where I needed some coverage, powder only on my T-zone and a light reflecting concealer under my eyes.I mixed both of the blushes to create a fresh peachy-pink shade and I added a touch of bronzer to warm up my complexion. Then I finished my face makeup with the highlighter on my cheekbones, bridge of the nose and inner eye corners. For my eye makeup I applied the light shades all over my lids, the soft brown on my crease and the dark bronze shade on the outer V and close to my botton lash line.I defined my eyes with a black eye pencil, smudged with a pencil brush and I made it look softer by applying some of the darker eyeshadow on top. Then a little bit of eye pencil on the waterline and lots of black mascara. My brow routine is the same for months now and you can find it here.Last but not least a nude lip gloss which makes my lips look fuller and the result is so soft that compliments the smokey eyes.
You can also wear it paired with a dark, berry lip for nights out. It’s such a versatile smokey and I love it!
Leopard print is one of my favorites especially during Fall and Winter as it matches perfectly my entire black and white wardrobe but it also gives an extra oomph to the outfit. It’s a little bit difficult to find chic leopard pieces so I am always looking for neutral, black based and small sized prints.
Leopard print looks amazing paired with jewel tones like a deep red or emerald but for this outfit I chose a safe neutral colour palette as I combined the romantic style of the Silo skirt by Madame Shou Shou with a leather jacket and military boots so a colourful mix and match would be unnecessary.
You can combine this skirt in so many ways,I already think about it paired with Vans and a long, chunky sweater for my Winter mornings or with a bodysuit and velvet pumps for a night out.

Summer equals Wedding Season here in Greece – July was full of our friends’ ceremonies and I couldn’t be happier to attend their most important moments . We travelled a lot (many of them took place in different cities), danced all night , laughed our heads off , got emotional (those first dances made me cry like a baby ) and we made memories that we will discuss for years .
I know that lots of you have some weddings to attend and I also know the struggle of “what to wear to a Summer wedding” so here are my tips for the perfect outfit
- Choose the style that suits the wedding location . Flowy ,maxi dresses are perfect for a beach/island wedding while playsuits and formal lines match the city vibes .
- Less is more . As the clothes are on the formal side you should be careful with over accessorising – Choose dainty , fine jewellery if your are going to wear a printed outfit or add a statement necklace to a monochrome dress.
- You don’t have to break the bank to create a formal outfit. You can wear a simple dress and transform it paired with colourful shoes or an embellished clutch – Just choose good quality fabrics and a statement piece that will make the difference.
- On the other hand if you want to invest in a fashion piece , a handbag or a pair of shoes are those who worth it .
- Makeup and hair – If a full face glam look or a braided undo make you feel beautiful go for it , but as I prefer soft makeup and simple hairstyles on my daily life I choose this style on special occasions too.My advice is waterproof mascara and light layers of products for a long-lasting look.
- Just don’t try too hard – I know that’s a special occasion but effortless outfits always look chic and polished .

Don’t forget to have fun and create wonderful memories !
Espadrilles season is the best , it means that Summer is here and I can wear my favourite shoes . Espadrilles add a femine, effortless touch to every outfit , they are comfortable but they also give me the extra centimetres that I need ( 1,58cm people ) .
I am a big fan of the Parisian je ne sais quoi style and my girl crush Jeanne Damas -the ultimate French girl – wears the Castaner espadrilles all the time , so they had to be mine . They are the most comfortable shoes ever . I wear them day to night , paired with jeans or Summer dresses and I absolutely love them .
You can buy them here in many colours-I started with the nude ones but I want them in black too.

Straw Bags became my thing this season . They are an effortless chic addition to any outfit and even when you are in the city they make you feel like you are on your Summer Vacation . They give a Summer touch to my basic pieces like T-shirts and jeans but I also love the contrast between their natural textile and my colourful prints or floral dresses . I often wear my straw bags with minimal , monochromatic outfits that neighbor their textile like beige and khaki for a softer look .
We have so many options this season as many brands offer amazing designs , lots of shapes and styles for every occasion paired with patterns and fabrics.
My favourite is the Cult Gaia Ark Bag that I talked about in my S/S Wishlist post ( tick off my list yay!) as it has the most unique design and I love the bamboo material . I bought the smaller size as I want to wear it everyday but as a clutch too . I ordered it from their site , it’s available in two sizes and different colours and it costs 128$-116E .
I did some online window shopping as one straw bag is not enough when you live in Greece and I found great pieces that I wanted to share with you .
I love this Reclaimed Vintage Straw Backpack because I can carry so many thing and wear the straw trend at the same time.
ZARA also offers lovely and affordable pieces decorated with leather straps and linen fabrics like this palm tree one or the stripped – love them both .
One of my favorites is the Asos tote which would be the perfect beach bag . Classic design with gingham lining that adds a pop of colour paired with broderie anglaise trim for a romantic touch .
If you want to wear the trend on a night-out you can find smaller straw bags like this cute Shell clutch which reminds me of the Little Mermaid !
You can find so many great designs in different prices and enjoy your Summer in style.Which one is your favorite?I hope that this post helped you to find your Summer Bag , please let me know .
