New beauty stuff that changed my routine

I always mention that I am loyal to my trusty beauty products but sometimes a new entry can be a game changer. From haircare to makeup I discovered some great stuff that replaced products that I was using for years or others that I believed that there would be nothing better out there – surprise here they are!

The Kat Von D Shade and Light palette is all I need for my base makeup. It contains three matte light powders with neutral, yellow and peach undertones that sets my foundation and concealer beautifully and three matte dark powders with warm and cool undertones for contouring and bronzing.

I have nothing negative to say about this palette, the formula is sooo good, they blend like a dream without looking cakey, they have amazing pigmentation and they last all day.It replaced all my powders, bronzers and blushes as I use the middle dark shade as an overall cheek colour.Absolutely love it!

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Duo in Dark Brown is the best product to achieve the most natural looking brows. It comes with a light and a darker brow shadow so that you can blend them and have the perfect match for you or apply the lighter shade on the front and the darker on the outer part of your brows and create a fresh,”non Instagram” look. The powders work great if you don’t have lots of sparse areas(if you have you can combine them with a brow pencil) and they make the brows look thicker in the most natural way.I love the pigmentation and how they blend together so this Duo became my brows best friend.

The Caudalie Divine Oil is my favorite moisturising product, it smells absolutely divine , my skin looks glowy and refreshed after every use and this Summer I tried the Divine Scrub as I wanted my tan to last longer (the tip is to combine a body oil and a scrub so that the skin remains smooth and moisturised while it gets tanner) .I fell in love with the matching scent and with how gentle but effective it scrubs my skin at the shame time.I own the perfume too but it’s a little heavy for my taste so this combination is all I need for my body care routine.

The Fresh Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask is my new favorite skincare product.I use it once a week and it’s the most gentle deep cleansing mask that I’ve ever tried. It’s so comfortable while it’s on as it doesn’t dry like all the others, it leaves my skin glowy, hydrated and fresh so I can’t stop using it.

Now let’s talk about nail polish top coat.If you don’t know I was a huge fan of the Seche Vite top coat for years but I was looking for something new and then the Essie Gel setter came to my life.It has a gel like finish, it dries fast and my manicure is on point for at least 5 days.

The last product is a new haircare discovery from a favorite brand of mine Macadamia Professional and it’s the Blow Dry Lotion.I also use the Deep Nourishing masque and the Healing Oil but I wanted a heat protector so I gave this one a go.It’s so lightweight and in combination with the other products of this range my hair is smooth and shiny and I went from brunette to blonde to brunette again during Summer without any damage – I have to thank my hairstylist Joannis Marmaras first for that but a good haircare routine is also super important.

I am so happy that I changed my beauty routine by adding some new products.I’m looking forward to trying more as Fall is here and a new season means new colour palettes, new textures and looks so I can’t wait.

So which product changed your routine?

Love Lou!

Santorini | The one and only

Visiting Santorini was on my bucket list for years and this Summer I had the chance to explore this amazing Greek island. It’s so unique , the view and the architecture were breathtaking and of course the sunset was mesmerising. We had one of our best vacation there and I couldn’t recommend visiting Santorini enough.

I captured my favourite spots to share them with you but spoiler alert I definitely adored Oia where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset- Oia stole my heart.

The best time to visit Santorini is September or May as it’s not that crowded and you can enjoy your stay better.

As I said earlier I adored Oia,the sunset, the nightlife, the entire vibe was dreamy and my favourite flower ,bougainvillea was everywhere.I recommend you to visit the unique book store Atlantis , the Tomato Industrial Museum at Vlichada where you can learn a lot about the famous tomato paste of Santorini and the great Greek taverna (restaurant) Metaksi mas (thank you Souzana for the recommendation) where you can try traditional dishes while looking at the beautiful view.

I had the best time in Santorini and now I am so ready for Fall.Have you ever visited Santorini and what would you suggest?
